Can your diodes be used under continuous zener over voltage condition?

Surge Suppressor Diode is a type of diode used to protect the circuit and loads from non-repetive surge voltage and non-continuous overvoltage.
Therefore, the Non-Repetitive Peak Reverse One-cycle Dissipation (PRSM) is specified in use.
It is not guaranteed for the allowable power to be used under the rated voltage.
